The doctor and Dr Ramos were very nice. I felt like once I got to see them that my standard of care would exceed my experience in the office.
I called several times to get an appointment and my messages weren’t returned. Seeing how busy you all are I can overlook that. When I finally got to speak to the new patient coordinator I was asked if I could come in the next day for a 1 pm slot. I said yes and traveled to r 1.25 hours excited for this appointment so quickly.
I came equipped with all the paperwork she said to print online. I arrived 45 minutes ahead as she said in case there was other paperwork. I was met with we don’t have you on the schedule and you can wait for her to come back for lunch. This got rectified but it was a long waste of time and there was no explanation.
I finally saw the room about an hour and a half later. I waited for about 20 minutes and thought about leaving if I’m honest. I am glad I waited because I felt heard by Dr Ramos and then Dr Rosenberg who seemed to listen and care about my health. Their genuine interest changed my opinion of the office.
I was surprised y’all had a lab on site. So happy and the staff there were so nice.
I went to the pharmacy after I had lunch in San Antonio and drove home and to my surprise no meds that had been prescribed were called in. I called moments ago 10 am next day and was told there were no notes of medications prescribed. A message had to be sent to the nurse and doctor regarding this (I have a handwritten note from the doctor and the lady at the desk took a copy). I have no idea how this happened just like my appointment disappearing.
I am hopeful that my experience is limited to me and that it will be different on subsequent appointments.
